A patient can fly to Mumbai in the morning and after checkup, blood tests and sonography, the abortion procedure is initiated as per pregnancy status of the patient. The patient can be discharged the same day. 1 Day Procedure is applicable for up to 12 weeks only.

For Second Trimester Abortion the procedure may vary as per the status of pregnancy and health status of the patient. What are the Pre-requisites for 1-day Abortion

  • Medical History & Medical Reports: When you come to Mumbai, you must carry all your reports and medicines if any.
  • Forex Assistance: You will require Indian currency. We can help you with the contact numbers of foreign exchange in Mumbai.
  • Fellow Companion: In case you need a dilatation and curettage abortion procedure then it is a legal requirement to have an accompanying adult person with you. It is not permitted to take you to the operation theater in case you are alone. What is the difference between Quarantine and Isolation?

Both isolation and quarantine are methods of preventing the spread of COVID-19. Quarantine Quarantine is used when you come in contact with someone who has aninfection with the coronavirus. Quarantine means that you remain separated from others because you have been exposed to the virus and you may be infected. The quarantine can be done in a designated facility or at home. It is for a period of 14 days. Isolation Isolation is used for people with COVID-19 symptoms or who have tested positive for the virus. The person is separated from other people, ideally in a medical facility where they can receive clinical care.  If isolation in a medical facility is not possible and you are not in a high-risk group of developing severe disease, isolation can take place at home. If you have symptoms, you should remain in isolation for at least 10 days plus an additional 3 days without symptoms.
